Flagstaff Area Campgrounds

Canyon Vista Campground

Most Flagstaff Area camping options are run by the US Forest Service. These include the Bonito Campground at the entrance to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument and the more isolated campgrounds dotted along the Lake Mary Recreation Corridor, including the Canyon Vista, in the south of Flagstaff on FH 3 (Lake Mary Road).

Primitive camping is permitted in many areas in the national forests. Some areas allow open camping while others allow camping only in designated campsites. The USFS guide to dispersed camping.
