Lake Mary Recreation Corridor

LAKE MARY NEAR FLAGSTAFF

For hiking, fishing, camping and exploring the ponderosa pine forests of the Coconino National Forest head to the Lake Mary Recreation Corridor which extends for 24 miles southeast of Flagstaff along Lake Mary Rd. (Forest Rd. 3). Along the route to Mormon Lake, you’ll find two lakes and seven campgrounds with picnicking, camping, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, and wildlife watching.

Lake Mary

YThe long and narrow Upper Lake Mary allows power boats and is popular for fishing and water skiing. Lower Lake Mary may dry up during droughts. Both lakes are stocked with trout, catfish, and pike.

Activities & Camping

Three lakeside picnic areas are perfect for day trips while three campgrounds let you immerse yourself in nature. Trailheads at Pinegrove Camppground, Lakeview Camground, and Canyon Vista campgrounds lead to hiking trails and loops, biking, and rock climbing areas.
