Marrakesh In-a-Day

The city's most important sights if you have just one day

If you have just one day, this one-day itinerary will take you to all of Marrakesh's main sights, plus the Jemaa el Fna and The Souks.

Marrakesh in a Day itinerary map

It's possible to get to most of these places by cab, but unless you have limited mobility, walking is generally the most efficient way to get around in the Medina.

Morning

Marrakesh

Get to the Majorelle Garden early, preferably before it opens at 8am, in order to avoid the crowds. Get your ticket on line in advance. A combined ticket will enable you (except on Wednesdays) to pop round the corner afterwards to visit the Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
