Oscar Progrès

Cheap & cheerful couscous (l,d; $)

One of a slew of cheap restaurants in Rue Bani Marine, Oscar Progrès is very popular and very good value, especially for couscous.

Theirs certainly isn't the finest couscous in town, but it's available daily, it's very low-priced (30–40dh), and it's pretty damn good for a cheapo place.

Lamb is the best, but they also do chicken or vegetarian versions. Their grills and brochettes aren't bad either, although their tajines are rather bland.
