Cusco Walks

Walking 7 culebras

Cusco is a fantastic city for walking, especially in the historic center. There are many pedestrian passageways, some virtually unchanged over the past five to seven hundred years.

That means that these are also the most likely to be lined with ancient Inca walls. Below are a few routes that I think are fun and interesting.

Calle hatunrumiyoc

All start at the Plaza de Armas. Routes 1 and 5 are wheelchair accessible. Route 3 has a few steps but is mostly wheelchair accessible. Routes 2 and 4 have way too many stairs to even take a baby stroller with you.

There are just a few of my favorite walks. If you have any feedback please let me know what you think here!

Route 1

For your first day at altitude

Route 2

Up to San Blas

Route 3

To Avenida del Sol

Route 4

Route 5
