Route 2

Up to San Blas

Plazoleta San Blas Saturday Market

Route 2 takes you up to San Blas, walking up Calle Triunfo to the pedestrian Hatunrumiyoc where you can see the 12 Angle Stone.

7 Culebras

From Plazoleta San Blas, walk up Carmen Alto to the first set of stairs going down, then after a short downhill on Choquechaka walk through the pedestrian Siete Culebras. Look for all seven snakes carved into the Inca stonework on your right as you near the plazoleta.

San Blas Walking Route

From there you cross the Plazoleta las Nazarenas and back down to the Plaza de Armas. There is a lot of up and down on this route and too many stairs for it to be wheelchair accessible. Walk slowly until you have acclimated to the altitude.
