Wheelchair Accessible Cusco

San Blas with wheels

Carmen Alto

San Blas is a beautiful neighborhood with fantastic cafés, restaurants, concept stores, artist workshops and views of the city. Unfortunately, it’s built on a steep hillside, which involves a lot of stairs. I have found two routes across the hillside that you can do with wheels.

Wheelchair Accessible San Blas

Both require a taxi to get you to the starting point and you return to the same point to get another taxi. Route 1 starts at the Plazoleta San Blas and goes up Carmen Alto. Route 2 starts just uphill from the San Blas Market and goes along Tandapata above the Plazoleta San Blas. The San Blas Market is accessible.
