ITINERARIES

Newcastle is a relatively small city and the Centre can easily be explored in a day: see Newcastle In-a-Day. However, if you intend to look around the magnificent Newcastle Castle and all the various galleries and museums, then you'll need a little longer.

I've proposed three further itineraries to guide you around the best bits of the City. For those with very limited time there is Grainger Town In-a-Morning which helps you to explore the City Centre in a couple of hours or so.

The other two itineraries take a day each and go beyond Newcastle's core areas - these are a Quayside to Ouseburn In-a-Day and Blackfriars & Chinatown In-a-Day. A further 90 minute guided walk, Back to the Future, is organised by the Ouseburn Trust.
