Downtown Boston
Downtown Boston has it all in a compact, walkable space: brutalist architecture, glass towers, seaside piers, great restaurants, plush hotels.
Its brick lanes contain some of the city’s most iconic historic locations: Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market, the Old State House and other stops on the Freedom Trail, and the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum.
For some greenery, the Boston Common lies adjacent. The Waterfront District of Downtown is home to the New England Aquarium and the Long Wharf is the start point of Whale Watching and tours.
Downtown is the loction of many key T stations too: Downtown Crossing, South Station, State, Aquarium, and Haymarket. It’s also the gateway to places like the USS Constitution where it is possible to take a water taxi from Long Wharf.
