New England Aquarium

Sea tank viewing for families

New England Aquarium

With over 20,000 marine animals, including African penguins and harbor seals, the New England Aquarium is an undersea enchantment on land.

New England Aquarium

At its heart is a dazzling Giant Ocean Tank which teems with sealife from a 75-year old 550 lb sea turtles to rays, needlefish, and barracuda. The strong focus on conservation and research sets this aquarium above others.

Simons Theatre

The Simons Theatre contains a five storey high screen for 3D and cinematographic nature films.

The wharf itself offers beautiful views of the Boston’s maritime activity, though the best skylines are seen coming into the harbor.

Boston Harbor

Food

Granary Tavern across the street has a diverse, family-friendly menu, including delicious flatbread pizza, fresh salads, and juicy burgers.
