Other Neighbourhoods

Azcapotzalco

Even if you’re not religious, a visit to the beautifully manicured grounds of the Basilica de Guadalupe is a sight to behold, as millions of pilgrims descend on Latin America’s most visited Catholic shrine each year. Hop off at the La Villa metro station or take a ‘La Villa’ bus east along Avenida Reforma. If you’d like to dine at Nicos and later visit downtown Azcapotzalco, they’re best reached by car or taxi.

Doctores & Colonia Tránsito

Meanwhile, the Museo del Juguete Antiguo México lies in the Doctores neighbourhood, some seven blocks east of Roma and easily combined with a visit there or to the excellent Taquería El Gran Abanico in the Colonia Tránsito neighbourhood.
