Skipper’s on the Beach

Location, location, location. Skipper’s on the Beach has one of the best spots on the bay. Its upstairs bar and rooftop terrace above the Cruising Club (membership not necessary) offer dreamy sea views through the palm trees, and glorious sunsets. You can also take your drinks down to the picnic tables on the sand. Watersports and sailing opportunities are on the doorstep and sun-loungers with umbrellas are also available. On Sunday evenings there’s live music.
Drinks prices are average – BD$6 for a Banks and BD$ 15 for a cocktail – and the fairly priced light bar snacks of salads, wraps and tacos hit the spot – try the fish wrap with fries.
