Northern bays & coves

What northern Barbados lacks in sandy beaches and tranquil waters, it makes up for with some dramatic, at times inaccessible coves and bays.

Little Bay is a favourite photo-stop on islands tours; nearby Cove Bay is more of a hidden gem, and Archers Bay, west of North Point, is a popular picnic spot.

By car: A car is by far the best to explore these bays and other inlets along this section of coastline, although it’s easy to get lost.

On a tour: Various island safaris and bus tours take in one or more of these coves and bays.
