Aguas Calientes Accommodation

Aguas Calientes

Aguas Calientes is the town with all the hotels and restaurants next to the river, beneath Machu Picchu. You will find everything from $10 a night shared hostel rooms to $800 for the suite at Inkaterra. (It’s worth it).

With the exception of the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, all of the hotels are in the town of Aguas Calientes, which is a 20 minute shuttle bud ride from Machu Picchu.

I have been staying in the same places for years in Aguas Calientes, but will be visiting more hotels there in 2023 and will update the app accordingly.
