Lima Neighborhoods

Lima is a massive city but most travelers zero in on four neighbourhoods. These have the most interesting attractions and things to do and are also the safest parts of the city. (Theft is a major problem in Lima).

Check out Barranco for fun murals and the bohemian vibe of this artistic part of the city.

Go to Central Lima for the best colonial buildings and museums.

Miraflores has the best views of the coast and beaches, along with the best hotels and restaurants.

San Isidro is a close second for the best restaurants and also has great museums.
