Barranco

Barranco, Lima, Perú.

Barranco is Lima’s artistic and bohemian neighborhood. The one spot you have to see has several attractions together: Paseo Chabuca Granda.

Here you’ll find a park, the famous wooden bridge Puente de los Suspiros and Iglesia la Ermita. Note: The bridge was closed most of 2023 because of earthquake damage to an adjacent building.

Go to Mirador Catalina Recavarren for sunset. There are a couple bars with balconies perfect for watching the sunset. (below)

This is just a block from the Parque Municipal Barranco, which has weekend events and is a great park for walking and admiring public art.
