Kaibab Lake Campground
USFS campground
On a small lake surrounded by ponderosa pines, this convenient campground is only four miles from downtown Williams and 50 miles from the South Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon. Camping loops wind through the woods with 66 single and 7 double RV sites, and a loop with 7 tent sites. Some sites are reservable. All sites are accessible and have tables, fire rings, tent pad, nearby water, and vault toilets, but no hookups or RV dump station. A picnic pavilion, small boat (10 hp) ramp, amphitheater, and trails surround the scenic lake.
Located northeast of Williams off AZ 64. From I-40 take Exit 165, then north on AZ 64 for 1/2 mile. Paved and all-weather gravelled roads are suitable for passenger cars. Two other USFS campgrounds south of Williams, Dogtown Lake and White Horse Lake, offer similar facilities. The nearby Cataract Lake is now day-use only, no camping.
