Dartmoor, North & East Devon (3 Days)

Surf, cathedrals, castles, & caves – 123 miles

Surfer surfing in the sea in Croyde North Devon wearing a wetsuit.

This jaunt around the best bits of Dartmoor and North and East Devon covers just 123 miles in three days, so you don’t spend too much time in the car.

We start in East Devon, take in Exeter and Dartmoor and end in North Devon. If you’re doing our Cream of Cornwall seven day tour, you can link up with that from the end of this itinerary.

Day 1 – 25 miles / 1 hour driving

Explore the fishing village of Beer, then go deep underground on a tour of Beer Quarry Caves. The awww-inspiring residents of Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary come next. A short drive brings the historic city of Exeter, complete with exquisite Cathedral and pretty quay. Supper at the Cork & Tile rounds off the day.
