Zemi Café
Latte with Atlantic views (l; $$–$$$)
Enjoy a leisurely latte and cake on an breezy wraparound deck affording panoramic views of the East Coast. Lunches range from flying fish cutter and fries to fancier (and pricier) mains, such as rum-glazed pork belly with sweet potato mash and striploin steaks.
Located on the site of an old Amerindian settlement and named after an indigenous deity, Zemi Café is the upmarket end of the redeveloped Hillcrest Community Centre.
For some cheaper fare, take in the local stalls (pictured below) for a Deputy, some fishcakes and a chat with the locals.
