West Coast beaches

Barbados’ Platinum Coast has a string of idyllic beaches dotted along sheltered coves. What follows is a selection of the best.

By car: Some beaches have dedicated car parks; in other cases, you’ll need to park up a side street, east of the West Coast road (Highways 1 and 1B).

By bus: All beaches are easily accessible by bus – any of the frequent blue or yellow buses that shuttle between Speightstown and Bridgetown along the West Coast road can drop you off/pick you up at any of the above beaches.
