Batt's Rock Beach

Locals' beach

A favourite with Barbadians, Batt’s Rock offers a pleasant mix of sheltered swimming and some fun snorkelling around the reef and various lumps of rock.

When exposed at low tide, the rocks attract the odd guy with a fishing rod. Bushy manchineel trees provide shade over the occasional picnic table in a wooded area that extends round the point to Paradise Beach.

Batt’s Rock boasts beach facilities and a studied casual, but chic beach bar-restaurant, La Cabane, which charges distinctly tourist prices, though elsewhere along the shore, the vibe is distinctly local.
