Art

Who did this!?

Austin is a creative town and there are plenty of places to duck in for an afternoon of art appreciation.

The Blanton Museum of Art is right on the University of Texas campus, the Mexic-Arte Museum is on the southern side of the Texas State Capitol, and the Elisabet Ney Museum is tucked into the trees near Zilker Park.

Contemporary Austin: Jones Center is in Central Austin and Contemporary Austin: Laguna Gloria is a short drive away.

For up-to-the-minute information on Austin’s art scene, consult the Austin Chronicle or Austin 360.
