Around Nice

Nice is such a fascinating place with so much to see and do that it is tempting to stay put, but a few short journeys into the suburbs or a little beyond can end up being very rewarding. All are easily done in a day.

If you only visit one of my suggestions go round Mont Boron to the next bay which is almost literally just round the corner and explore ancient Villefranche-sur-Mer.

The Peninsula next door to Villefranche is St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat home to the rich and famous and visit to the beautiful Villa Ephrussi is essential.

Just a little further East is the idyllic Beaulieu-sur-Mer

Our Route du Baroque itinerary drops in on some interesting places around Nice on its way inland.
