Parque el Olivar

Olive trees & pond

Parque el Olivar Lima

This park is several blocks of ancient olive trees with a lovely little pond.

The first trees were planted in 1560 by Antonio de Rivera, who brought them from Seville, Spain.

You can also see old stone implements that were used to crush the olives and make olive oil.
