Nestled in the rolling hills of Litchfield, the White Memorial Conservation Center is a 4,000-acre sanctuary with more than 40 miles of trails winding through forests, fields, and wetlands.

It’s perfect for hiking, bird-watching, or snowshoeing along boardwalk trails that bring you right into the marshlands.

The hands-on Nature Museum is a chance to touch and interact with local wildlife while learning about geology, ecology, and conservation.
