Portland In-2-Days

Small town feel, big offerings

Portland Head Lighthouse

Portland feels like a small town, but it has a lot to do and is a good hub for visting other parts of the state.

Here’s a two day itinerary.

Day 1

Start with breakfast at Becky’s Diner, or for those who prefer pastry, try the potato based doughnuts at The Holy Donut.

Sweet potato ginger glazed, sea salt chocolate, pomegranate, maple bacon, fresh lemon, and triple berry potato donuts from The Holy Donut

Then take a stroll in the historic Old Port with its cobblestone streets and brick buildings alongside the ships of fishermen. There’s plenty of boutique shopping too.
