Central Medina Sights

Jemaa El Fna Marrakech 2006098

Marrakesh's two main sights are close together in the Central Medina:

Around the Jemaa & Koutoubia

Things to see around the Jemaa include the shrine to the king in Kissariat el Guessabine, and the nearby olive souk.

Things to see near the Koutoubia include the marabouts (saints' tombs) in front of it, notably the Koubba of Lalla Zohra, and also a couple of parks: Lalla Hasna Park and Moulay Abdeslam Cyber-Park.

If you can afford the day pass (or the room tariff), La Mamounia hotel and its gardens are worth seeing.
