Camping キャンピング

3000 campsites all over Japan

雲の切れ間から富士山登場!

Keen campers will be overjoyed at the camping opportunities all over Japan, especially in places such as beach, lake and mountain areas.

Camping is very popular in the summer months, especially during school holidays from late July through August. The Golden Week holiday of late April & early May is also a popular camping period.

While many campgrounds are free, most of those with facilities will charge you to stay. Tent sites start as low as ¥400 per person. Many campgrounds rent bungalows, yurts, lodges and cabins ranging from ¥4,000 to ¥30,000 per night.

Auto-camping is also very popular. Campers drive to the campground and pitch a tent next to their vehicle. This is possible if you have rental wheels. Expect to pay ¥5,000 for the site.

Budget (to ¥6000)
