Mather Campground

South Rim campground

Wake up to the call of ravens, and the sounds of your neighbors, in the wooded campgrounds in Grand Canyon Village. Reservations required March-Nov. for all 327 sites, so reserve early (6 months ahead) and don’t expect an idyllic back-country experience. First come, first serve Nov.–Feb. Flush toilets and drinking water faucets throughout the campground.

Pine loop is tent camping only, no generators allowed. Free dump station, but no hookups, 30-foot max trailer limit.

Trailer Village, located next to Mather Campground, has hookups and accommodates larger RVs. Pets on leash, kennels available. Located 1/2 mile from rim viewpoints and businesses on park shuttle route. Shopping,
showers, laundry, dining, even a bank, close by at Market Plaza.
