Jacob Lake Campground

National Forest campground

Look for deer and the beautiful white-tailed Kaibab squirrel in the forest. The lake, about one mile away, is often dry. Tall pines shade the 51 gravel trailer pads, tent sites, and 2 group sites capacity 100 people each. Even in the hot summer, the 7,920-foot elevation keeps the nights cool. Drinking water available but no electricity, hookups, or dump station. Picnic tables at sites and vault toilets. Services and facilities across the highway at Jacob Lake Lodge. A 1-mile loop leaves from the campground and the Kaibab Plateau Trail, part of the Arizona Trail, is a 10-min. drive. Located 44 miles from the North Rim and 30 miles south and east of Fredonia at the intersection of Hwy 89A/67.
