Flightseeing

Bird's-eye view

Fly like a bird and see the vastness of what you can only glimpse from the rim-side viewpoints. Papillion Tours offers flightseeing trips over the vast reaches of the canyon.

The 45-minute, fixed-wing plane circles the eastern side of the park and the Kaibab Plateau.

The 30 minute chopper trip loops over the west end of the canyon, and the 45 minute tour crosses to the North Rim and flies over the widest portion of the canyon.

Flights leave from the Grand Canyon Airport in Tusayan. Papillion and various other companies offer air tours to the canyon from Las Vegas.
