Tusayan Bike Trails

Hike-Bike-Equestrian trails

Mountain bikers asked for it and the USFS gave it to them. No bikes are allowed on the national park trails so the Forest Service turned old logging roads and single-track trails around Tusayan into hiking/biking/equestrian trails.

Three loops of 3 miles, 8 miles, and 9 miles meander through scenic ponderosa forest. A 16-mile, one-way trail branches off and connects with the Arizona Trail and Grandview Fire Tower. All start from the same point on FR 605 on the west side of Hwy 64 between Tusayan and the park entrance.

The trails are rated Moderate for bikers, Easy to Moderate for hikers.
