Winter: May to October

The best time to visit is during the dryer southern hemisphere winter season of May to October. It’s not as hot and humid as summer and there is less rain.

The average daily high temperature over this period is 25 degrees C; water temperature averages about 24 degrees.

July to October is also whale watching season.
