The Cliff

Stunning setting (d; $$$)

For many years The Cliff has been Barbados’ most famous fine-dining restaurant (with prices to match). Its unique setting – curled round the eponymous cliff, overlooking its own secret cove, and illuminated with burning torches – has made dining here special.

At the time of writing, the restaurant was under new ownership, has been completely redesigned – more New York than Caribbean in feel, and was due to open as Quattro Passi @ The Cliff, under a Michelin-starred chef. But whatever the results, the romance of this stunning setting is likely to remain undimmed.
