For the healthiest Sunday brunch, head over to the delightful ECO Lifestyle & Lodge. This is a seriously indulgent affair at West-Coast prices. The setting is stunning, on a rustic wooden covered terrace in a tropical garden with refreshing ocean views.

It’s the healthiest spread around, drawing on the sea/farm-to-table philosophy, and using other locally sourced produce.

The changing, innovative a-la-carte menu is primarily plant-based with fresh fish occasionally featuring.

Don’t expect large platefuls, rather exquisitely presented gourmet creations, such as butternut and zucchini lasagna with slow-roasted tomato sauce, plant based pesto and cashew “ricotta”, or beetroot ravioli. Dinner is also available some nights in high season.

The lodge, incidentally, comprises ten designer ‘rustic’ rooms (though surprisingly with a/c), in soft tones, featuring upcycled wood and high quality linens, with plenty of healthy activities on offer.
