Hyde Park & Burnet Road

Located just a mile north of the University of Texas, Hyde Park is bounded by Guadalupe Street to the west, Duval Street to the east, 45th Street to the north, and 38th Street to the south.

Developed as Austin’s first suburb, the neighborhood features homes from the 1930s and ’40s interspersed with commercial centers, folksy restaurants, and coffee shops.

Burnet Road follows the growth curve, linking these older neighborhoods to those farther north.
