Chatuchak Weekend Market

Browse for local colour

Chatuchak Market, also known as JJ Market, is the perfect place to get a feel for Thai culture, products and food. It sprawls over a vast area and is divided into 27 sections, selling everything from clothes to plants to household goods.

What to buy

You could spend all day exploring the market and still not see everything, so it’s worth taking a break at one of the many food stalls to sample some tasty Thai cuisine. It’s a great place to pick up Thai crafts such as lacquerware, silverware and textiles, as well as to watch locals looking for bargains.
