Criadillas
Testicles
Bull’s testicles were historically eaten as a supposed cure for impotency and Spanish king Fernando II of Aragón was a particular fan following his second marriage to 18-year-old Germana de Foix.
Nowadays criadillas can come from bulls, sheep or cockerels and are considered a delicacy. They can fried (a la plancha), stewed, barbecued or coated in breadcrumbs.
