Melting Leazes Park

  • Early November till Christmas: Fenwick's Christmas Window. The long window on Northumerland Street is a delight especially for young children. The windows are filled with working models which follow a different theme each year. 2018 was the Snowman.

  • Second Sat Nov till end-Feb: Times Square Skating outdoors, organised by the Life Science Centre. Charges apply - see website.

  • End-Nov till mid-Jan: Theatre Royal Pantomime Well known actors and singers take part in a traditional pantomime each year. 2019/20 will feature Beauty and the Beast. Theatre Royal

  • Mid-Nov till Christmas Eve: Newcastle Christmas Market International and Local traders offer all the seasonal goodies you would expect around Grey's Monument.

  • Last Weekend of Jan: Beamish Hall Winter Fest at Beamish Hall Hotel, Stanley, County Durham, DH9 0YB.
