Morningcider

Cider in Morningside

These guys certainly like their cider and a good pun - making Morningcider in a suburb called Morningside - “looking on the bright cider life, we’ve found the in-cider information on juicing those local apples into something very a-peel-ing”.

Puns aside, this community focused lot have donated over 100 apple trees to local residents and promised to harvest all unwanted fruit to make a truly neighbourhood brew.

What they’ve got already is pretty tasty, although some brews such as Hot Cross Buns Cider, Pineapple & Jalapeno, Coffee Supreme and Ginger Ninja might raise a few eyebrows. Feijoa and pomegranate seem somewhat tame in comparison.

Drop in to the Morningcidery and try a tasting board; try a Cider Mojito to knock your socks off. If you’re worried about driving, take note that Morningcidery is only a short stroll from Morningside train station.
