Looking from Queenstown, it’s hard to tell that there’s a massive ski area tucked behind the rugged peaks of the Remarkables range of mountains, until you notice the road snaking up at the northern end.
You’ll need to drive or take a bus the 26km from downtown (45mins), but you’ll find all the facilities of an exciting commercial ski area.
