Tourist Info

Welcome centres

Guilford Welcome Center on Interstate 91 North at mile marker 5.4 in Guilford, Vermont.

For those who like collecting leaflets for sights and attractions as well as stocking up on road maps, the tourist information centres / welcome centers of New England are abundant and excellent.

The staff love to answer questions and provide advice and you’ll encounter the range of loquacious to laconic New England personalities.

Tourist information centers can be found in every major city and town, at national and state parks, at attractions and lodging, and especially at rest stops along highways.

Some even provide cheap or free coffee and/or food. Vermont’s Williston Welcome Center, I’m looking at you!
