Roger Williams Park & Zoo
From anteater to zebra

Thank Betsey Williams for bequeathing farm and woodland in 1871 to help create Roger Williams Park (RWP), a 435-acre green space in Provincetown.
RWP contains lakes, sculpture, botanical gardens, a carousel, and a zoo.
Pack a picnic lunch and wander its paths.
RWP Zoo
The Roger Williams Park Zoo is an easy-to-navigate delight for children and adults alike. Giraffes, red pandas, penguins, gold tamarins, anteaters, pythons, they’re all there and in good hands.
Animal welfare is at the forefront of the zoo’s mission. Although one of the oldest zoos in the USA, it regularly upgrades its facilities.
