Marrakech Medina - Sept 2014 - 17

In town you have a choice of bus or taxi, but the easiest way to get around inside the Medina is on foot. Even in the Ville Nouvelle, most places are within walking distance, albeit sometimes a long walk.

Unless you have limited mobility, or limited time, you’ll only actually need buses or cabs to get out to the Palmery, the Agdal and Menara gardens, and the airport, but they’re also useful for getting between the Medina and the Ville Nouvelle if you don’t fancy a long walk. And if you take a cab, you don’t need to know the way.

For a novelty there are also tuk-tuks (auto-rickshaws) and calèches (horse-drawn carriages).
