Grand Hotel Tazi

Hotel with a bar

The Grand Hotel Tazi is a decent if unexciting hotel that's handy for the Jemaa el Fna and most of the central and southern Medina sights.

The Tazi is also of interest to non-guests, for two reasons. Firstly, it allows non-guests to buy a pass (100dh) to use its swimming pool.

Secondly, and more importantly, the Tazi has a bar, that's female-friendly and low-priced (beers from 35dh), and shows European football matches on the telly. It's also open, at least in principle, round the clock.

The main bar is between the lobby and the restaurant, but you can also have a drink on the rooftop terrace with a Koutoubia view.
