Nightclubs
Marrakesh's best and gltziest nightclubs are attached to package hotels in Hivernage, notably the Saadi's Theatro and the Sofitel's So Lounge.
Downtown Guéliz has some slightly seedier venues, but also one or two decent clubs, Montecristo being the most popular. Down in the Aguedal hotel zone, a cab ride from town, 555 Famous Club is the city's other top nightclub. Do be aware however that 555 in particular can be rather sleazy.
As well as these, there's African Chic, which is really a bar with a dancefloor, and Comptoir Darna, which is a restaurant that doubles as a nightclub.
Some of the snobbier clubs operate dress restrictions, and may not allow you in dressed in shorts or sometimes even trainers.
Note that prostitution is very common in Marrakesh nightclubs. For more on prostitution in Marrakesh, see this 2018 article from The Yale Globalist.
