INTERESTS & ACTIVITIES

Marrakech 2007

Probably the best thing to do in Marrakesh is just to stroll around the Medina taking in the sights, sounds and smells. The souks area in particular is great for this.

Hanging out in the Jemaa el Fna of an evening is also a must-do, and there are simple Moroccan experiences too, such as sitting at a café sipping a mint tea and watching the world go by.

In the way of sightseeing, Marrakesh has plenty of sights to see, from old palaces to gardens and of course museums and old mosques. For those in a hurry, there are half a dozen must-see sights which most tourists will want to visit.
