Look for elk in the pine woodlands on the 5-minute walk to the rim and shuttle bus stop. Modern two-story units feature two queen beds, full bath, phone, TV; North Unit rooms are larger with in-room coffee, refrigerator, air conditioning, safe. Cabins have two queen-size or double beds, ceiling fan, shower. All rooms non-smoking. Services include a cafeteria that serves until 10 p.m., sports bar with widescreen TV, gift shop, and transportation desk.
Food stations in the cafeteria serve Mexican, Italian, burger, and deli stations, cold-box sandwiches and salads. For something quick, the Pizza Pub-sports bar serves excellent pizza by the slice or whole.
