43176 Didcot Parkway to Paignton 1C11 at Dawlish

Most people drive to Devon and Cornwall, and having your own wheels does see you travelling at your own pace and into less-visited spots.

But travelling by car can also mean you face struggling to find somewhere to park, costly parking fees and getting stuck in jams.

Using a mix of car, train, bus and ferry will add variety to your trip and may save you money and stress.

Air links could help you get to the region, and travel to the Isles of Scilly, 28 miles off shore.
