Sea Kayaking

Sea kayaking is an enormously popular way of enjoying the coastal scenery, and is not difficult for fist-timers to pick up. There are numerous agencies in Dubrovnik, Split and on the islands offering kayak tours of half-day duration or longer, usually involving a trip to a local beach or islet.

Wind- & Kite-Surfing

Wind-surfing is primarily practiced in two locations which enjoy reliable winds: Bol, on the southern coast of Brač; and Viganj on the Pelješac peninsula. Both places have plenty of places renting out gear and offering courses.

River-Rafting

River-rafting is offered by several agencies on the rivers of inland Croatia, especially on the Cetina inland from Omiš, the Zrmanja east of Zadar, and the Mrežnica west of Zagreb.
